Make-Over Monday

I picked up this table at a “Donation Sale”. You go and grab what you want and pay what you can or feel like you should. Those are tricky, in my opinion. I mean, who doesn’t want to donate money to a good cause?! BUT, who wants to pay retail prices for garage sale items?! In my opinion I paid a fair amount for several items….

Then, later that day, Porter, our oldest, and Jack our middle decided that they wanted to donate their old bikes to the sale to help other people….How awesome is that?! Truly these kids amaze me.

I decided that this table needed to get a little crazy. And so I threw on some tape and started painting in random colors. Then added some more colors and tape and then finished it off with one tiny strip of gold and glazed it with Martha Stewart glitter glaze. LOVE that stuff!

I’m thinkin’ go bold or go home for the next few projects I finish before the big move back to Minnesota!
